INTRODUCTION

In today’s fast changing times with abundant opportunities all over the world, the need for proficiency to communicate with different cultures and nationalities cannot be underestimated. Even at local level, communication in English is becoming stronger and stronger necessity.

English is recognized the world over as the language of international business. Use of English language within the specific context of business, profession and in work place is becoming more and more universal.

Keeping this in view, Xcel has developed and designed two programs. One program, “EASY ENGLISH”, focuses on developing expertise in speaking, writing and overall communication in English language. The second program “EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS” is specially designed for working executives to develop comprehensive communication skills essential for work place and corporate environment.

This program is designed for those people who have studied English as second language and have their education in vernacular language. The program focus is on complete English language structure right from grammar – sentence structure, tenses, vowels and consonants, punctuations – Sentence construction, vocabulary building, synonyms and antonyms etc. The program design has lots of interactive practice and delivery method makes it very easy to understand. The candidate develops fluency in spoken English, written English as well as communication effectiveness. Equal emphasis is also laid on improving pronunciation, voice modulation, intonation etc.

At the end of the program the participant acquires sufficient level of fluency in spoken and written English as well as develops tremendous self confidence.

The ability to communicate effectively through spoken and written channels with diverse external and internal groups as well as at different levels can significantly boost career prospects. This program focus is on spoken fluency, written skills, non-verbal communication and body language, communication at work place, public speaking and presentations skills, fine art of listening, telecommunication skills, e-mail communication etc.

On completion of this program the participant develops professional personality and positive self image. S/he also achieves high level of comfort in interacting at all levels including with senior management and in the process, significantly increases productivity and effectiveness.
